Comments
When you leave a comment on our site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you’re using it. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract any location data from images.
Contact forms and cookies
When you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies will last one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This helps us recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
For registered users (if any), we also store the personal information provided in the user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Administrators can also see and edit this information.
What rights you have over your data
